Mary Putnam Henck Intermediate School Modernization- Rim of the World Unified School District

The last phase of the major modernization of the Mary Putnam Henck Intermediate School will start in June 2015 and shall be completed before the student return in August. The modernization to this campus has been so extensive that it had to be completed in four phases- Daniel's has been involved in 3 of the 4 phases via the competitive bidding process. Phase 4 will involve demolition of existing science classrooms with reconfiguration and construction of 4 new science classrooms; one shared prep area; and one shared lab. Work includes the removal and replacement of all finish in affected areas.

McGarvin Elementary School- Garden Grove Unified School District

The Garden Grove Unified School District has 69 schools ranging in age from 37 to 89 years old; all in need of modernization/upgrades. McGarvin Elementary School Project involves repairs and replacement of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems; replacement of indoor and outdoor lighting for improved emergency efficiency and upgrading seismic bracing for light fixtures. Project is expected to be completed in summer 2015.

Perris High School Transformation Phase 2A

The 50-year-old Perris High School campus is getting a major overhaul that is expected to modernize and transform the 2,500-student campus. Phase 2A includes the construction of a new two-story Media Arts Building; a new Satellite Kitchen; modernization of the existing Locker Room Building; and the associated site work. Phase 2A expected to be completed in early 2017.

Indio High School Phase 2A

An addition of two new buildings to an existing school with extension of exiting power and systems backbones.

The Library and Food Service Building is a single story totaling 31,245 square feet. The Food Service portion provides a full service kitchen for the school. The Library includes both small and open study areas as well as the expected book storage area.

The Second building is a two story Science and Art Classroom Building totaling 46,258 square feet. improvements include standard classrooms, lab spaces, ceramic studio, fine art classroom with state of the art dimming system as well as broadcasting facilities.

Riverside City College Student Services & Administration

Daniel's Electric is proud to have been recently awarded a two story, new construction building totaling 50,475 square feet.

This building provides small and large open offices for RCC administrative staff; conference rooms; large assembly/meeting rooms; testing facility for individuals to large groups; filing and accounting areas; counseling offices and large public lobbies. Improvements include specialty lighting and low voltage control, low voltage systems include: Fire Alarm, Access Control, Audio Visual and Telecommunications.

Related Site Improvements include lighting plus additions to Campus Medium Voltage and Telecom backbones.

Mt SAC Student Success Center

Daniel's Electric has recently awarded the contract for a new project at Mt San Antonio College.

The project consists of 3 stories totaling 22,846 square feet.

Interior spaces include administrative office space, conference rooms, study areas, and a medical treatment facility. Systems provided include both standard and custom lighting; low voltage lighting control and specialty systems consisting of: Digital Assistance/Recall; Audio Visual; Nurse Call as well as Fire Alarm and Telecommunications.

Exterior Improvements include lighting plus additions to Campus Medium Voltage and Telecom backbones.

La Quinta High School Additon

Daniel's Electric is pleased to be awarded the electrical contract for an addition project at La Quinta High School. The 104,000 square foot addition to the existing campus will include installation of new utility backbone, backbone for feeders and systems, and lighting for site landscaping.

In addition, a new two-story, 36,000 square foot culinary arts/public safety/health academy building will be added. This will include a culinary arts section with a lecture hall, including a full demo kitchen containing: instructors islands, four student islands, bakery, dining area, restrooms, as well as control and data installations. The Health portion includes: a forensics lab, lecture hall, dressing rooms, office space, two diagnostic/science classrooms, restrooms, and workrooms. The public safety portion includes: a lecture hall, fitness center, office space and two classrooms.

Two new classroom buildings will also be added, totaling 56,000 square feet. The two-story buildings will consist of twenty-seven standard classrooms, four science rooms, two work rooms, lobbies, and restrooms.

Finally, a new 12,000 square foot multi-purpose building will be added. Work on this area will include florescent, hi-bay fixtures with provisioning for audio visual, and support areas, including: lobby, restroom, storage and control.
